Shark Week vs Sharknado (Series)
Shark Week 2018
2018 is the 30th anniversary of Shark Week on the Discovery Channel and starts on July 22nd.
This year, Discovery Channel’s Shark Week wants to “shark & awe” viewers with “eight days of shark-centric specials” and more than 19 hours.
And the Discovery Channel brings big-time celebrity power to help boost ratings. Shaq (Shaq Week), Shania Twain (Shania Week), and Shaun White (Shaun Week) are all connected to Shark Week 2018.
But are 19 hours of sharks and big-time celebrities enough to sway you to watch Shark Week over Sharnado?
