The New TiVo BOLT VOX

TiVo has released the details for the new TiVo VOX series of DVRs and remote controls. The new TiVo BOLT VOX has all the features of the old TiVo BOLT, plus voice control and “hyper-personalized” recommendations. The TiVo BOLT VOX, TiVo MINI VOX, and TiVo VOX Remote will be available to buy on October 29, 2017.

The New TiVo BOLT VOX

The new TiVo BOLT VOX looks very similar to the old TiVo BOLT. The new TiVo BOLT VOX is sleek, comes in black, and has the same off-center hump that uniquely identifies the TiVo BOLT.

The new TiVo BOLT VOX has these new features:

• Use the TiVo VOX Remote for voice search – simply press the blue voice button and speak to search
• Use the TiVo VOX Remote to ask questions like “What’s on TV tonight?” and “Show me movies with Will Smith” and popular movie quotes such as “Show me the money”
• Use Skip Mode and OnePass through voice control
• Redesigned user screens with improved usability
• Predicts the shows you are most likely to watch any time during the day
• Show recommendations – based on earlier shows you have watched

The new TiVo BOLT VOX still has these features found in the old TiVo BOLT:

• Four or six integrated tuners (varies by model)
• DVR recording of digital cable or over-the-air (antenna) TV
• Skip Mode
• OnePass
• Quick Mode
• Fully 4K/Ultra High-Definition compatible
• Integrated streaming apps Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO go, Hulu, Pandora, and more

TiVo MINI VOX

The TiVo MINI VOX is the long-awaited update to the TiVo MINI system.

The TiVo MINI VOX still:

• Extends your TiVo DVR system to any room of your house (just like the current TiVo MINI)
• Includes integrated streaming apps Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO go, Hulu, Pandora, and more

New features of the TiVo MINI VOX:

• Fully 4K/Ultra High-Definition compatible
• Ability to expand their voice-powered 4K Ultra HD experience to more rooms without needing to pay extra fees with the TiVo MINI VOX

TiVo VOX Remote

The TiVo VOX remote works with the existing line-up of TiVo BOLT, Roamio, and MINIs! And the TiVo VOX remote retains the classic TiVo peanut design.

There are TWO different TiVo VOX remotes. If you buy a TiVo Vox remote to upgrade your existing system, be sure to buy the correct model.

The TiVo VOX remote for the old TiVo BOLT is available in black or white. ($39.99)
The TiVo VOX remote for the Roamio and TiVo MINI is only available in black, includes a Bluetooth adapter. ($44.99) The TiVo VOX for the Roamio and MINI will be available on November 10, 2017.
