New Roku Models for 2019
Roku has introduced two new Roku models for 2019. The new Roku models are the 2019 versions of the Roku Express and the Roku Ultra.
The new Roku Express and Roku Ultra models are available for pre-order at Roku.com and Amazon.com today. Both models have expected availability dates of October 13, 2019.
Pro Buyer’s Tip: When buying a Roku be sure to check the Roku model numbers and DO NOT go just by the name. Roku frequently updates their model numbers while keeping the same model names. Many retailers will continue to sell older Roku models, sometimes at reduced prices – but sometimes not! Look for the 2019 model numbers below.
New Roku Models for 2019
New versions of the popular Roku streaming media players for 2019 include the Roku Express and the Roku Ultra. The new Roku models offer a sleek new form factor, fast channel launch, and remotes with personal shortcut buttons.
Additionally, Roku will be offering special models only available at select retailers Walmart and Best Buy.
Roku Express Model 3930R (2019) – $29.99
The Roku Express model 3930R is smaller than the 2018 model (3920R) and designed to be powered by the USB port of most televisions, if an outlet is not nearby.

While the Roku Ultra LT Model 4662RW is less expensive, it trims down the package to lower the price.
The Roku Ultra Model LT 4662RW differs from Roku Ultra Model 4670R as follows…

- No USB port
- Remote Control does not have personal shortcuts
- Remote Finder is not included
