ESPN+ Will Launch on April 12
Here is some great news for sports fans. ESPN+ will launch on April 12! ESPN+ will be a streaming subscription service that will have live sporting events, original shows and films, studio programs, and an on-demand library.
But for those of you who have waited and hoped for an ESPN stand-alone streaming channel, that is not ESPN+. ESPN+ will not provide coverage of the most popular sports now covered on ESPN such as NCAA football, NCAA basketball, NBA, and Monday Night Football. ESPN+ Will Launch on April 12
A subscription to ESPN+ will cost $4.99/month or $49.99/year.
ESPN+ sports coverage will include MLB, NHL, MLS, College Sports, Boxing, PGA Golf, Tennis and more.
- MLB – one feature game per day during the season
- NHL – one feature game per day during the season
- Boxing – includes the upcoming main event on April 21 between Amir Khan vs. Phil Lo Greco bout in Liverpool, England
- MLS – 250 games
- College Sports – America East, ASun, Big South, Big West, Horizon, Ivy League, MAAC, MAC, MEAC, Missouri Valley, NEC, Southern Conference, Southland, Summit League, Sun Belt, WAC and many more.

- Lacrosse, Tennis, and Track & Field
- College Football
- Soccer, Volleyball, Field Hockey
- College Basketball
- Wrestling, Swimming & Diving, Gymnastics and Ice
- PGA Tour Live Golf – includes THE PLAYERS Championship, the FedEx Cup Playoffs, AT&T Byron Nelson, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Travelers Championship, Arnold Palmer Invitational and dozens more. Coverage will include Thursday, Friday and some Saturday and Sunday play during the events
- Grand Slam Tennis – Wimbledon, US Open, & Australian Open
- Rugby – SANZAAR (including Super Rugby, The Rugby Championship, the Lions Series, Mitre10 Cup, Currie Cup, Bledisloe Cup and other international matches), the HSBC World Rugby Sevens series, and 18 regular-season matches in the inaugural season of Major League Rugby, the new American professional rugby union league.
