There is no separate app for AT&T TV or AT&T NOW. The same app is used to stream AT&T TV and AT&T NOW.
How Does This Change Affect DIRECTV NOW customers?
Probably not much. There isn’t a lot of information available on any other changes right now. So far this simply looks like a re-branding effort.
For now, all of the subscription packages and pricing appears to be the same.
Both the AT&T TV and AT&T TV NOW customers will access and stream their service through the same AT&T TV app either on mobile or the big screen.

What do you need to do to move from DIRECTV NOW to AT&T NOW?
If you already have DIRECTV NOW, you don’t need to anything. Your service will continue.
Your Roku or Amazon Fire TV app will update automatically IF YOU HAVE AUTOMATIC UPDATES turned on. If you don’t have automatic updates turned on, you will be asked to download and update the DIRECTV NOW app – which will then become the AT&T TV NOW app.
DIRECTV NOW customers will need to accept a new terms of service.
You will use the same username and password to sign in.
Your streaming will continue as usual.

In select markets this summer, we will pilot an all-new connected TV experience with no satellite needed – AT&T TV.
As we roll out this new experience later this summer, current DIRECTV NOW customers will also see a new name—AT&T TV NOW—appear on their screen.
Our DIRECTV NOW subscribers will simply need to re-accept the terms of service and their streaming will continue as usual without interruption.
Both the AT&T TV and AT&T TV NOW experiences will be accessed through the same AT&T TV app either on mobile or the big screen. Customer login credentials will determine what content appears.
In the coming weeks, the AT&T TV app will be available for download across various app stores, and current DIRECTV NOW customers will see this update automatically on their devices.We’ll share more details on this rollout when it begins.
