Speculation about the price of Apple TV+ (Plus) is over. Apple has officially announced that Apple TV+ will be $4.99 per month. Apple also announced that Apple TV+ will be live on November 1, 2019.

What is Apple TV+
Apple TV+ will be a new on-demand streaming service that will have original TV shows and movies.
With Apple TV+ you get the following:

- $4.99 per month
- Ad-free service
- Family Plan with access for up to 6 people
Apple TV+ will be an ad-free subscription service and compete with companies like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video (Amazon Studios), and the new streaming service Disney+.

Apple TV+ will have original programming. Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, and Jason Momoa have already committed to either starring or working on original Apple TV+ exclusive content.
You can stream Apple TV+ with the Apple TV app on the Apple TV and Apple IOS devices like iPhones and ipads. An Apple TV app is planned for the Roku and Amazon Fire TV too. While the Apple TV App is still not available for the Roku and Amazon Fire TV, look for it to be available for download right around November 1, 2019.

While there were a lot of rumors that Apple TV+ would be $9.99 per month, Apple has officially announced that Apple TV+ will only be $4.99 per month.
When compared to the cost of other streaming services and the amount of content they have, even $4.99 might not be a good deal. Of course, if there are shows you really want to watch, $4.99 might be a great deal for a few months.
