This week’s Throwback Thursday Movie is Bad Boys (1995).
Starring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, and Tcheky Karyo. Directed by Michael Bay.
Bad Boys is about two detectives who are investigating a case of stolen heroin from the evidence storage room from their Miami Police Department precinct vault.
Bad Boys has largely been described by reviewers as a mix of Beverly Hills Cop and Lethal Weapon. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence portray Eddie Murphy in his role from Beverly Hills Cop, and together they portraying Riggs (Mel Gibson) & Murtaugh (Danny Glover) from Lethal Weapon.
But, Bad Boys was a worldwide success. Bad Boys went on to make a sequel and a TV series, with a third movie in development.
